PFPP

The whole film, prepared before a camera rolls.

Not storyboard software. Eleven panels, in the order a film actually moves through pre-production — one project, one data model.

The pipeline

Screenplay → Director’s Interpretation → STR Designer → Storyboard → Animatic → Floor Plan & 3D Studio → Casting → Screening → Production → Finance → Overview

Eleven panels, one data model

01

Screenplay

FDX and Fountain import, reader, marginal notes, version tracking that shows what changed without overwriting finished work.

02

Director’s Interpretation

Treatment and presentation builder — pages, text, images, video, drawing, AI generation, presenter notes, PDF and self-contained HTML export.

03

STR Designer

Character, location and prop design, variants, moodboard, concept work, drawing tools for sketching, masking.

04

Storyboard

AI breakdown by dramaturgical weight, face continuity frame to frame, canvas, masked partial regeneration, cut labels, adding camera and lens information.

05

Animatic

Timeline, transitions, narration, music, SFX, frame-accurate MP4 export via WebCodecs, guide-track handling, fitting to audio, guide-track recording, timing adjustments feed back into the storyboard.

06

Floor Plan & 3D Studio

Real camera-move planning: constant-pace camera splines, keyframes, blocking figures and rigged characters, collision warnings, importing a studio floor plan that the system builds for simulation.

07

Casting

Cast, locations, costume, props; music suggestions generated from a prompt (ElevenLabs Music); email approval. Storage of actors’ casting photos, videos and data that wardrobe and props may need.

08

Screening

Presenting the animatic, step-through playback of the director’s interpretation, step-through playback of the storyboard.

09

Production

Coverage, lens and shot lists, department needs, call sheets with Excel export, stripboard, shoot list, EDL and FCPXML for the edit suite.

10

Finance

From a real production company’s quote template: a 39-item catalog, HUF/EUR/USD, fees, contingency, discount, VAT, plan-vs-actual, license expiry, payment schedule, XLSX export.

11

Overview

Where the project stands, what is approved, what is missing. An HTML-based approval and sign-off system.

„Work profiles can be set up, so each specialist works with only the functions relevant to them.”

The view, the preview and the export all sample the same interpolator.

Finance, cross-checked

Loaded with the real template, the app produces exactly the same total as an independent spreadsheet calculation. Not similar — the same.

Speaks the crew’s language

Pan, tilt, roll; camera position, framing, blocking — PFPP uses the vocabulary a real set already speaks.

1.6.0shipped, Mac + Windows

Honestly, where it stands

PFPP 1.6.0 is shipped for Mac (universal) and Windows, used on a real production, with a three-round external audit closed: 65 findings, 58 fixed — including issues that had lived alongside 483 green tests. Entity intake and the shared shelf are done. Still ahead: code signing and notarization, PPTX export for the treatment, and writing the shelf receipt.

From the external audit

„An excellent, professional product initiative that, once the NLE exports and a modular breakdown of the codebase are in place, will be ready for entry into the international film-industry market.”

The same shelf, a different craft

Comic Studio AI Pro reads from the same shared shelf — the same entities, the same citations, a different medium.
